parking. A small resort town with a pleasant town square, play area, good
selection of shops, at least 3 banks, an Afra supermarket, sand and shingle
beach, Turkish Baths (Hamam) and an array of local amenities for the permenant
residents
Konakli is an excellent place to arrange excursions, quad bike hire, jeep
safaris, and car rental.
The nearest airport being Antalya which is about a 80/90 minute drive. There is
also a Metro service which runs coaches to a taxi point which is just outsede
the airport,costs approx 10 YTL). The cost of the taxi 2006 was £6.00
1.Turkey is only a 4 hour 20 min or
less flight time. 2 .Property
prices are still rising at an annual rate of between 20% - 40%.

cost of living in Turkey is extremely reasonable .-
The running costs for the apartment
are very cheap as well. The approximate costs for our apartment are as follows:
Purchase tax is 3% of title deed price, the apartment is free hold, there will be no annually ground
fee,
Council Tax -£30/£35 per year (cant
quite remember) Electricity - £130 per year, Water - £25.00 per year
There are no annual services charges although if you buy you will probably come
to some agreement with the other 4 apartment owners for annual fee for the lift
which will probably be about £70 to £100p.a.
You wouldn't find that in many other
countries!
The Apartment is in an established community of mainly holiday makers and
locals who all mix very well together.The Apartment was completed and we took it
over in Febuary 2006,

Payment would be by way of a £500.00 deposit and then the rest would have to
be completed in Turkey either by way of the purchaser having a mortgage or
paying by other means.
